For the past 21 years, Citymeals-on-Wheels co-president Chef Daniel Boulud has hosted a special “Sunday Supper” at Restaurant DANIEL to support vulnerable older New Yorkers by raising money and awareness. In 2017, the gala raised $850,000 to prepare and deliver over 115,175 meals to our homebound elderly neighbors.
Each year, Daniel invites guest chefs to join him and his team in the kitchen to create a unique menu and provide longtime supporters and gourmet enthusiasts with a truly unforgettable evening of fine dining. This March, renowned international chefs including Pedro Bargero (Chila, Buenos Aires), Neil Perry (Rockpool, Sydney), Luke Dale Roberts (The Test Kitchen, Cape Town) and César Troisgros (Troisgros, Loire) will join Daniel in the kitchen to create an extravagant five-course dining experience.
in celebration of Women’s History Month, we have invited some of the most prominent female chefs from across the country and beyond, to cook alongside our very own pastry chef Ghaya Oliveira - Daniela Soto-Innes from Cosme, Melissa Rodriguez from Del Posto, Laëtitia Rouabah from Benoit by Alain Ducasse, Suzanne Goin from Lucques in LA, Stephanie Izard from The Girl and The Goat in Chicago and finally, Clare Smyth from CORE in London.
