Fine dining connoisseurs are familiar with Chef Daniel Boulud’s renowned seasonal French cuisine served amidst his restaurant’s contemporary décor and striking neo-classical architecture. However, only a privileged few have savored his cuisine in an equally wonderful but even more exclusive spot: Chef Boulud’s private inner sanctum known as “The Skybox” at DANIEL. The glass-enclosed dining salon, suspended above the 1,800 square foot state of the art kitchen, is lined with comfortable banquettes. Up to four guests can enjoy the unique vantage point of the chopping, sautéeing, grilling, searing and saucing as Chef Daniel Boulud’s team of over 40 cooks prepare dinner for New York’s most discerning gourmets.

“Ordering two asperge blanche! Pick-up four langoustines!” you may hear a chef roar, as you observe the feverishly high octane spectacle of this legendary New York kitchen in full swing – all from the comfort of your privileged “Skybox” perch, Champagne flute in hand. Despite the impressive live culinary show before you, the main attraction of dinner in the “Skybox” at DANIEL remains the sumptuous eight course tasting menu. Bon Appétit!
